*Methodology for the Research

MoneyTransfers.com analysed the latest Forbes World’s Billionaires List (2021) and from their data sought to find out how many female billionaires there are in different countries across the world.

To do so, MoneyTransfers.com used the ‘country/territory’ indicator from the Forbes research to group the female billionaires by country. Once this was done, the countries were ranked from highest to lowest in terms of number of female billionaires and from this, the top ten countries were presented for the final data set/table.

To add context to the data, MoneyTransfers.com also identified for each of the countries in the top 10 the industry the female billionaires are most prevalent in. Where this was not possible for certain countries, the term ‘various’ was used to indicate this. Whilst for other countries where ‘diversified’ is stated, this means most female billionaires’ business activities/financial investments are not limited to one set industry in that given country.

Notes to Editors

All financial values in the research are presented in American dollars ($ - USD) – to keep it as accurate as possible to the Forbes representation of the financial values.
